Greg Zecca: Dog the Bounty Hunter’s step-son hit with fans after Brian Laundrie update
A video of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s step-son, Greg Zecca, has gone viral on the internet that showed him talking about a search effort that has been launched by his stepdad to find Brian Laundrie. Zecca claimed that they’ve Gabby Petito’s mother’s blessings to catch Brian. The 23-year-old Florida native has been missing since September 14 and alongside the authorities, Dog the Bounty Hunter, whose real name is Duane Lee Chapman, has also launched his own operation.
Brian has been named a person of interest in the case of Gabby, who embarked on a cross-country trip with Brian in July. The pair was in a relationship and also engaged for some time before calling it off. However, on September 1, Brian came back to his North Port home alone and did not tell anyone about Gabby’s whereabouts. Ten days later, the 22-year-old woman’s family reported her missing and in a tragic turn of events, her remains were found on September 19 inside a national park in Wyoming.

On September 21, the Denver office of the FBI said in a statement, “Teton County Coroner Dr Brent Blue confirmed the remains are those of Gabrielle Venora Petito, date of birth March 19, 1999. Coroner Blue’s initial determination for the manner of death is homicide. The cause of death remains pending final autopsy results.”
While investigators continue to probe the case, they are also looking for Gabby’s boyfriend, who vanished just a day before being named the person of interest in the case. An arrest warrant has also been issued on his name after it was found he allegedly used a debit card, which was believed to be of Gabby. The warrant states that the young man used the card “on or about August 30, 2021, through and including on or about September 1, 2021” in Wyoming and elsewhere and “obtained things of value aggregating to $1,000 or more.”
Who is Greg Zecca?

In the Twitter video, Zecca said, “We have Gabby’s mother’s blessings to go get this guy [Brian]. So, in Dog’s mind, that’s it, and it’s on, right. So, nothing is gonna get in his way, nothing's gonna stop him from doing the best he can. Of course, there are so many theories out here that he got away to Cuba, maybe to Mexico, maybe he’s in Canada, so there’s so much stuff.”
He continued in the video, which has been viewed more than 40k times, “They close the sighting in Tennessee was faux. The local police and authorities down there were able to locate this guy and get eyes on him and confirmed that it was not Brian.”
“So, we hope he wasn’t in Tennessee and there’s still a possibility he may be in Boone, he got his grandfather out there and there’s a lot of sightings out there. But again we have to start from the base point and try to get a track and get a trail, and follow that. We have to be patient and it takes work and I promise we guys are doing everything we absolutely can. I seriously we have only a couple of hours of sleep every night and when we can on the boats,” Zecca added.
Zecca’s recent update on the search effort has also attracted a lot of comments from people as a user said, “That is not correct about it being a false claim Brian is in Tennessee....not sure where he got that from.....I debunk this Gregs debunk.” Another one tweeted, “No disprect to Dog and his family and law enforcement but if I see that p.o.s. brian laundrie, I rather call Gabby's father and step father first and they can decide their next steps.” “Thank you for keeping us updated!! God bless you all,” the third user added.
