Does 'Bridgerton' 4 have a post-credits scene? Benedict and Sophie finally exchange vows in a bonus clip
With the release of 'Bridgerton' Season 4 Part 2 on February 26, fans finally got to see Benedict and Sophie's forbidden love story culminate in a happy ending. The series ends with a much-awaited marriage proposal from the second Bridgerton son, who, if fans remember, only wanted Sophie to be his mistress at the end of Part 1. The four episodes of Part 2 highlight the simmering tension between the duo as they wrestle with their deep feelings for each other and society's judgment. Although fans expected Benedict and Sophie to get their happily ever after, what they didn't expect was a post-credits scene that ties their story together perfectly. And why would they? 'Bridgerton' has never featured a post-credits scene in the show's history. Until now, that is. Moreover, the streamer hinted at the post-credits scene hours before the premiere of Part 2 on X.

While their love for each other is undeniable, both characters begin Part 2 of 'Bridgerton' Season 4 by reconsidering the indecent offer. Sophie wonders whether being a mistress (like her mother) is the best option for her future, given her station as a maid. Meanwhile, Benedict wonders if he made a mistake and should really ask Sophie to be his wife at the cost of risking his family's name. After overcoming several obstacles in their love story, the duo's story comes full circle in the final moments of Season 4 as the couple is seen back at the gazebo, where they danced for the first time in episode 1. But back then, Sophie's identity was hidden behind a mask, and she was only known to Benedict as the mysterious 'Lady in Silver.' With her identity no longer a mystery, the couple dances under the moonlight to celebrate the start of their happily-ever-after. Notably, the series does not end with a lavish wedding scene, which fans look forward to every season.
However, Netflix delivered a massive surprise by adding a bonus scene featuring glimpses from the couple's future after the credits rolled on Season 4. The scene sees Benedict and Sophie on their wedding day, surrounded by family members. Benedict and Anthony share a tender brotherly moment that steals the show, while Violet, Eloise, and Francesca's future romances are teased as they engage in pre-wedding banter. Watching Sophie walk down the aisle, exchanging vows with Benedict, and the couple's first kiss after being pronounced husband and wife is a fitting ending to their forbidden romance. The camera then pans to the house, more precisely to Benedict’s finished painting of Sophie as the 'Lady in Silver'. The post-credits scene from 'Bridgerton' Season 4 ties everything together beautifully, and we couldn't have asked for more.
