PUNTA MITA, MEXICO: The workshop on being vulnerable affected all the boys of 'Too Hot To Handle' Season 5. But, the one who was affected the most was Alex Snell. Soon after the workshop, he realized that he was not ready for a relationship. But why? The star had his own reasons.

Does Alex feel that coming into a relationship with Elys Hutchinson can affect his personal life? It seems so! After the workshop, Elys confessed to having noticed a change in Alex's behavior. She says to him, "You're being really cold." Alex replied about this in a confessional saying, "It (the workshop) may have really helped Louis (Russell) but after today's workshop, it's now made me think, do I really want a relationship?"

Why is Alex doubting his relationship with Elys?

When asked in the workshop "What's been holding you down?" Alex replied, "I think the pressure to settle down." He then explained, "I'm a wanderer. It's just that commitment because I like to travel." And, Alex now believes that Elys' addition into his life might shuffle things up for him. He says, "Now, I've met Elys, it kind of makes me feel a bit funny. I'm not gonna lie." Alex did not want a commitment in life because the star believes that cuts down the space for personal growth in one's life. Knowing that he is a wanderer and would like to continue traveling, Alex believes that being in a relationship with Elys might affect what he wants.

Why did Alex commit to Elys despite not wanting a relationship?

Lana sent Alex and Elys on a date in order to clear their thoughts on whether they want to build a relationship or not. When asked by Elys why he was acting different and quiet, Alex confessed, "I always feel like I need to be somewhere else and need to be doing something fresh all the time." He then explained, "I obviously have gotten quite close to you now, and then it made me think maybe I need to think about what I really want."

Elys then eased down Alex's concern by saying that they both can travel the world together. She then asked Alex to be her boyfriend. Astonishingly, Alex replied with a yes. Alex was easily caught up by Elys. But, later the star confessed, "If I'm honest this is moving too fast for me." Does this mean Alex came into a relationship with Elys despite not wanting to commit? It seems like so!
