2020 Democratic National Convention's Day 4 host Julia Louis-Dreyfus gave some extra dose of comedy to the viewers. Right from roasting Joe Biden to Donald Trump to Fox News, she didn't spare anyone.

2020 Democratic Presidential candidate Andrew Yang also shared the stage with her for a while and joked about not being able to pronounce Vice President Mike Pence’s name—a reference to the right's difficulty figuring out how to say “Kamala” correctly. “Some kind of weird foreign name,” she said of “Pence,” to which Yang replied, “Yeah, not very American sounding.” After Yang left the stage, Louis-Dreyfus told some more jokes, including one suggesting that, unlike Biden, Trump can’t read. After urging viewers to text VOTE to 30330, she added, “An easy way to remember 30330 is that’s the year Donald Trump will finally release his tax returns. If we all vote, there is nothing Facebook, Fox News and Vladimir Putin can do to stop us."

As soon as her DNC live coverage was aired people started reacting saying, "Awful just terrible," and some even said, "The jokes are inappropriate for this event." While some pointed out her Pence joke and said, "Oh boy! who wrote that Pence joke? If that’s what you call it. It was bad and reminded me of how trump makes fun of people - DONT STOOP TO THEIR LEVEL!! @AndrewYang, hopefully, there won’t be any more of those tonight," while another one mocked her saying, "No the joke didn't land very well, I agree. It was meant as sarcasm but fell somewhat short. In her defense.. telling jokes is her job... It's not Trump's job to tell jokes. **At least one of them is trying to do their job." Another one said, "Stop with the negative digs. Go higher. We are better than this. I hear enough and it is not humorous." Some even called her, a terrible choice, "Julia Louis-Dreyfus was just such a terrible choice. These jokes sound like they were written by Krassensteins."

Soon, people started coming in her support, as one user commented, "Omg! JLD, You are fantastic! I almost split my sides with the Biden Trump going to church comparison! You are what we needed tonight!!" and another one said, "You’re absolutely killing it tonight @OfficialJLD. Kinda like you did when you were Veep! I can’t wait until you’re blocked by @realDonaldTrump. It will be quite the badge of honor!"

One even said that she is better than the last three hosts, combined, "They are appropriate. Finally some humor and attitude. She’s better than the other 3 hosts COMBINED. Finally a break from the robotic message. We know what the message is, we need some sizzle and fight."

Complementing one of her Biden jokes, one user complimented her saying, "So many gems from which to choose, but this one: “Just remember. Joe Biden goes to church so regularly that he doesn't even need tear gas and a bunch of federalized troops to help him get there." You ROCK!!" While another user called her a funny girl and said, "Some people are saying comedy isn’t appropriate tonight but I beg to differ. You are stirring up the dander in tRump’s hair plugs and we have every right to laugh at his expense. Keep it up, funny girl!!!"
