It's a gloomy state of affairs, but hey, you can always rely on Disney to bring some joy and cheer. The studio has announced a line of reusable cloth face masks featuring Baby Yoda and Mickey Mouse, among others. The masks will be available for pre-order now on Shop Disney, and these themed face coverings will ship in June. Disney is also donating one million masks to children and families living in some of America’s most vulnerable communities.

Disney is releasing its pack of four masks for $19.99. These collections include 'Star Wars', 'Marvel', Disney Princesses, Pixar, Mickey Mouse and other classic Mouse House characters. In addition to its donation of 1 million masks, Disney will also send the profits to the humanitarian aid organization, MedShare, up to $1M, from now till September 30. The masks will be available in small, medium and large sizes. They can also be regularly cleaned and re-used by following instructions that are available on Shop Disney. The studio has also donated 100,000 N95 masks to the states of New York, California, Florida and Washington.

Fans are quite excited about it and tweeted, "Shut up and take my money!"

Another realized that we would need these masks for a long time and wrote, "We are going to be wearing masks for a long, long time. Possibly years."

However, another fan expects that the whole pandemic would be over by June, "So it says they won’t be delivered until like the middle of June.... sweet. Going to get 2 weeks use out of them."

"Disney is making surgical masks and my bank account is already screaming," tweeted another fan. "We want to see more things like this," a fan wrote.

One fan wondered why Disney won't send all the profits to the humanitarian aid organization. "Why not donate all the profits?" they tweeted. To which, another user sarcastically replied, "Because Disney doesn't have enough money, and they want to get a piece of the blooming pandemic industry. A lot of billionaires and corporations are looking for new ways to turn misery into profit."

"About time. I was wondering how long it would be before massive advertising on masks started," a fan tweeted. Another said, "Why not donate all profits? Does Disney really need to profit off a pandemic?"

"They should be paying their laid off employees," another tweeted.

"That sure makes up for the 100,000 employees Disney just laid off while preserving lavish executive compensations. GTFO here with this pathetic PR attempt Disney," one said.

"Donating? haha... If they really wanted to donate, they could have donated these masks in the first place. There's an actual shortage in US & globally. A******s!" one more vented.
