Did Monica Garcia sue Angie Katsanevas? 'RHOSLC' Season 4 reunion unfolds with unexpected legal drama
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 Reunion Part 2 revealed unseen footage and untold truths. Monica Garcia threatened to sue her co-star Angie Katsanevas after falling down stairs at the Bravo star's house.
In the episode, Monica visited Angie's house for an Easter dinner, heading to the basement to retrieve her children amid a public feud with her mother, Linda Darnell. Tears flowed as Monica, unfamiliar with Angie's house, reached for a nonexistent rail, causing her to fall and bruise her legs.
Despite the fall, Monica didn't sue Angie for the staircase's alleged failure to meet city standards. However, she publicly threatened to do so. Angie disclosed during the reunion that Monica sent bills for her treatment, even though production had already covered the expenses.
Angie stated, "You go online, you threaten to sue me, and then you say, 'I should send you the bill for my head scan,' which you did not pay for."
Monica defended herself claiming Meredith Marks suggested suing Angie and winning her house in the lawsuit. However, Meredith contradicted this, stating, "I said it could be a potential liability, absolutely."
Monica Garcia ends up in emergency room after falling at Angie Katsanevas' house
Following her fall at Angie Katsanevas' house, Monica Garcia went directly from Easter brunch to the emergency room. She booked a cab for her mother, and drove to the hospital.
She also claimed that Angie didn't even check on her in the hospital. Monica, who previously shared photos of her injured leg on social media, accused Angie of having an unsafe home.
She shared eight photos showing the bruises and cuts she got after tripping down the steps and wrote, "I left your house with bumps, bloody, and bruised!!! I should sue your a** for not having your home to code you f***!"
Angie Katsanevas claims 'not everyone is your friend'
After developing a strong friendship with Monica Garcia during 'RHOSLC' Season 4, Angie Katsanevas defended her in the feud with Lisa Barlow. However, their relationship changed when Monica was revealed as the operator behind the troll account Reality Von Tease.
After the Bravo cast wrapped up filming Season 4, Angie reflected on friendship in an interview with US Weekly. The reality star told the outlet, "I've learned that not everyone is your friend, and that’s sad." She added, "I was hoping that everyone would have the same mentality as me, but it’s a little eye-opener that unfortunately you have to be careful with some people."
Angie emphasized, "The biggest thing I’ve learned is 'Not to do it.' 'I don’t believe everything because people say everything that’s relevant."
'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 Reunion Part 3 will air on Tuesday, January 23 at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
