MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: The victim of the tragic incident involving a 20-year-old who jumped from a Times Square hotel window following a heated argument with her boyfriend was a young mother who also happened to be an aspiring actress and model from Colorado. Dezirae Andersen was discovered deceased after falling from the rooftop of the OYO Times Square hotel on West 47th Street at around 10.30 pm on Tuesday, May 2.
Police have arrested Andersen's boyfriend Tyler Griffen, 24, who was acting erratically in the hotel lobby when cops arrived. Griffen has been slapped with charges of assault, reckless endangerment, and acting in a manner injurious to a child, as he is accused of injuring the pair's 8-month-old child.

What happened between Dezirae Andersen and Tyler Griffen?
Dezirae Andersen from Littleton, Colorado was staying at the hotel with her boyfriend Tyler Griffen, 24, and their 8-month-old daughter. Prior to her fatal plunge, there was an altercation between Andersen and Griffen in their 10th-floor hotel room. Allegedly, Griffen repeatedly punched Andersen before the fight spilled out into the hallway.
It was reported that he then forcefully yanked the baby's arm, causing the child to fall down a flight of stairs, according to New York Post. After that, Andersen is believed to have made her way to the roof of the hotel and jumped.
She was enjoying the sights of Times Square just hours before death
20-year-old Andersen had posted a video on her Facebook story of her enjoying the sights of Times Square just hours before her untimely death. Her social media and online profiles suggest that she had been pursuing a career in the acting and modeling industries. “I am looking to get started in this business as an actress, model, or even open to commercials and voice overs,” she wrote in a post on Backstage.com — a job-seeking platform for performers.
“I would love to be given a chance and prove myself! I am a hard worker and a perfectionist! I am outgoing and happy!” reported the source. Andersen's Facebook account features numerous selfies and pictures from her modeling shoots, along with photos of her boyfriend and baby. Griffin's arraignment was pending Wednesday.
