Denise Richards-Aaron Phypers: Quickie wedding to open relationship rumors, a look into 'RHOBH' couple's life
After six weeks of quarantining, Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers were spotted in Malibu sporting identical masks on a grocery run together. The afternoon trip saw them sticking close to each other, walking arm-in-arm.
When the coronavirus pandemic took hold of the entire world, actress Denise Richards was filming the medieval drama series, 'Glow and Darkness'. The production shut down in the middle of March and she flew back home.
"I got out a day in time," she had said. "It took me two days to get home. I went through London and, landing in LAX, I will say they were screening. It took quite some time to get out."
While it looks like she now feels safe and sound back home with her husband by her side, their relationship hasn't been quite the simplest of rides.
The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' has been married to Aaron Phypers for almost two years now. But everything is not golden for the couple.
After rumors about her affair started doing the rounds - "Denise has a secret" following which there were rumors that she was to quit filming altogether, led many to believe that things are turning rocky between the two.
It was in 2001 that Richards became engaged to Charlie Sheen. The two got married on June 15, 2002. By that time, Sheen had already divorced his first wife Donna Peele making it his second marriage and the first one for Richards.
After her marriage to Sheen of 'Two and A Half Men' fame ended in 2006, she began dating Aaron Phypers in 2017. Soon, they got engaged in January 2018 and tied the knot in Malibu nine months later.
While the couple doesn't have children of their own, Phypers is trying to adopt her youngest daughter, Eloise, since May 2019 and working towards becoming her legal father. Richards' two daughters from her previous marriage with Sheen - Sami and Lola - were also adopted by Phypers in 2011.
"He’s an amazing father," the actress had once said. "I already obviously call him, you know, her dad and that's our daughter and we're going through the process of, you know, him adopting her and it's the best thing ever."
Richards has been pretty vocal about their sex life together. She has, by her own admission on the show, said her husband has "a very big penis". She also encouraged him to get a 'happy ending' massage on one of the episodes.
In January this year, the Daily Mail reported that Denise walked away from filming 'RHOBH' Season 10 after Brandi Glanville allegedly spread rumor that the two had a sexual encounter. However, Richards’ publicist told People that it isn't true.
Who is Aaron Phypers?
Phypers runs Quantum 360, a "state-of-the-art healing center designed to foster optimal health in mind-body-spirit," where he focuses on a "holistic approach to harness a wide range of energy fields to accelerate healing and amplify healing capabilities."
That is where they met. In the April 29 episode of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', she said her husband runs a holistic healing center in Malibu. “Aaron has a job where people get tremendous results and sometimes certain organizations don’t like to see those results because they make a lot of money otherwise. And there’s times we’re followed,” said Denise.
After a short engagement that lasted barely a day according to some reports, the two got married. However, some reports claim that they got engaged early in January 2018 but decided to keep it lowkey "because they didn't want a lot of attention leading up to the wedding," claimed a source.
Before his marriage to Richards, Phypers was married to 'Desperate Housewives' star Nicollette Sheridan in 2015. They separated in 2016 and finally got divorced in August 2018.
