Max Ehrich: Who is Demi Lovato’s new boyfriend and will he propose to her after coronavirus pandemic is over?
Demi Lovato is making headlines, for both, professional as well as personal reasons. A while back, she opened up about how she was no longer friends with Selena Gomez and had found new pals in Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus.
Soon after, she teased a new music video titled 'I'm Ready' with Sam Smith days after announcing collaboration and surprised her fans. The singer, who had a near-fatal overdose in 2018, has reemerged as a stronger and more confident icon. She also seems to have found love in the arms of her new boyfriend Max Ehrich.
If you're wondering who he is, here's all you need to know about the young actor. The 28-year-old handsome hunk is a 'The Young and the Restless' alum who played the role of Fenmore Baldwin and was nominated at the Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
A New Jersey native, Ehrich made his film debut in 2004 with 'One Easy Job' and starred in several other shows and movies, including his appearance as Hunter May in 'Under the Dome', and Freddie Ridge in 'The Path'. He was also a part of the Netflix movie 'Walk. Ride. Rodeo.' and is currently seen in 'American Princess.'
It's easy to be charmed by his looks, but did you know he was stalked in 2018 and had to hire private security? According to a TMZ report, a real estate agent was so obsessed with Max that he pulled a gun on him in a “fit of rage.” Terrified after that incident, Max went into hiding and “hired full-time security.” He later clarified it on Instagram, saying, "The part that's not printed is that I was stalked on Instagram months prior to this incident," and warned his followers to "be careful while sharing their locations."
Meanwhile, in a recent Harper's Bazaar interview, Lovato said that she was rejected from the celebrity dating app, Raya. "I just deleted it out of respect to the person I was with, then we broke up and I went to get back on. 'And I was like, "You know what? It’s fine. I don’t need to be on this because I think I’m supposed to be alone right now."' she said.
She has been reportedly quarantining with her new bae and according to Us Weekly, "Max plans to propose to Demi after this whole pandemic is resolved and their families wouldn’t be surprised by the proposal. They think they make a great couple."
Even as the two have been reportedly together for just one month, things seem to be pretty serious. Lovato even commented, "my angels" on a photo of Max and her dog Batman sleeping together. The source further added, “The quarantine has been really great for Demi and her and Max have gotten so close,” the source says. “She’s doing a great job at staying sober, healthy and taking care of herself.” Calling Max “a really nice guy,” the source said they are happy together.
Lovato is also on the verge of releasing a new single, 'I Love Me' off her latest upcoming album, and also consolidated her comeback with some acclaimed performances at the Grammys and the Super Bowl earlier this year.
