‘Debris’ Episode 4 Spoilers

According to the promo, Bryan and Finola will be investigating another bizarre phenomenon created by the alien wreckage. The official synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, “When the Debris creates a strange rainstorm over a farm in Nebraska, Bryan and Finola must treat the situation like they are stepping foot onto an alien planet.”

The promo shows both detectives geared up in their respective astronaut suits as they try to investigate the mysterious rainstorm created by the Debris. However, the most unsettling thing about the phenomenon is that people have lost their ability to breathe oxygen and are dying as soon as they step outside the rainstorm.

The scientists are completely clueless about the discovery as the rainstorm continues to change the Earth’s atmosphere in a weird way.

In one of the scenes, we see a man instantly dying as he tries to escape the rainstorm. Meanwhile, others are really cautious as Bryan and Finola try to meet the people still trapped inside the farm.

One thing that seems to be odd in the promo is that people trapped inside the rainstorm are still alive along with the plants. Does that mean the Debris has reversed the breathing cycle for humans and they are now breathing Carbon Dioxide instead of oxygen? The plants in the clip don’t feel the wrath of the rainstorm and are not displaying any awkward behavior.

The alien wreckage seems to have the ability to completely change the dynamics of how humans live. It can be revolutionary in changing so many things for humankind.

It will be interesting to see how the agents will be able to deal with ‘Debris’ with so many new characteristics.

‘Debris’ returns to NBC on Monday at 10 pm ET.
