As people across the globe try to cope with the coronavirus outbreak, some Hollywood elites believe President Donald J. Trump considers the pandemic a "hoax."

Actress Debra Messing promoted the notion again by tweeting a doctored video of the president appearing to call the outbreak a "hoax" while asking Trump supporters if they realized he needed to be removed from office.

“LIAR-IN-CHIEF. #Maga have been unmoved by the 16500 lies 45 has made since elected. Now that innumerable people (including MAGA) will die, because of his lies and inaction, I wonder if MAGA will recognize that 45 must be voted out?” Messing wrote on Twitter alongside the doctored video Tuesday.

'The Dirty Dancing' star is among several Tinseltown celebrities who are criticizing the administration's response to the coronavirus. However, the president had used the word "hoax" to describe the Democrats' attempts to politicize the virus at a recent campaign rally.

That said, even songwriter Richard Marx -- who has been a vocal Trump critic for the longest time -- noted that “this narrative that he called the actual virus a hoax is patently false.”

Meanwhile, this is barely the first time Messing has attacked the president.

Last month, Messing claimed Trump has put “Americans in mortal danger" while tweeting a two-year-old Washington Post article about proposed budget cuts to the CDC that never came to fruition.

Earlier this month, the 'Will & Grace' star tweeted a video announcing her support for former Vice President Joe Biden. In the post, the actress pointed at Biden's South Carolina primary win to claim that “the African American community, which has always been the heart and soul of the [Democratic] Party, trusts Joe.”

Messing said Biden “has NEVER voted to protect gun manufacturers instead of our children" and that his healthcare plan “builds on Obamacare with an affordable public option.”

Concluding the video, the actress said the 2020 Democratic frontrunner "will passionately campaign for Democratic candidates” and “I believe with Biden our down-ballot Dems will be most protected.”
