'Will & Grace' star Debra Messing has dug her own grave by sharing a post on her Twitter about Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler, which is being subjected to extreme criticism for lacking facts. Earlier today (June 2), Messing took to Twitter to share a collage, with Hilter on the left and Trump on the right, both holding a bible in their respective hands. She captioned the post, "A dog whistle to white nationalists and Nazis."

Similar to Messing, several celebrities are being vocal about their dislike towards Trump's rule, but the former used the social media platform to express her hatred towards the current president using a photoshopped image and it isn't going down too well for her. Soon after she tweeted the picture which has come under fire, Twitter users took to the platform to ask the actress to get her facts right. While one of them wrote, "Thank you for proving, once again, that liberal celebrities have ZERO critical thinking skills and constantly promote lies. Please, keep going because you’re exposing all of 'you'!"

"You DO realize the Hitler photo is a fake, don't you?  It was photo-shopped you mindless twit," added another. Meanwhile, showing no mercy, another commented, "You are possibly the dumbest person on twitter. Literally sharing fake photoshopped images." Sharing the original picture of Hilter, one wrote, "Like everything made by Hollywood, this is fake. Here's the original on the left."

Several called out Messing for similar blunders she's made in the past as well. Sharing one such experience, one of them wrote, "I remember when @DebraMessing wanted a list of people who voted for trump so she could refuse to work with them. Didn't care too much about POC who would have been on that list then. She needs to sit down and shut up."

Urging her to take down her post another said, "Debra you're literally sharing fake news. Anybody will tell you the Hitler photo is photoshopped. God you guys are gullible. Do you have the decency to delete this lie?" Besides being slammed for propagating the wrong message, her post also served as a reason for the internet to turn it into memes. Trolling Messing, one of them tweeted, “Hitler drank water. Trump also drank water. COINCIDENCE I THINK NOT." Another shared, "Trump says children should eat their vegetables. So did Hitler. This is not an accident."
