The strip sees Ryuk handing the book to Trump. The report read that the president buys the book through a worldwide auction and his appearance is more of a cameo. The story follows a new rule created for the Death Note and a bidding war that follows. The manga was first created in 2003 and centers around a notebook with powers to kill people. Writing the name of the person in the book causes them to die. Ryuk or better known as a shinigami— the god of death uses the book. The Manga was brought to life on the small screen by Netflix in 2017 and was a major hit with Death Note fans.
