'Death Note: Special One-Shot' features Donald Trump as a brief part of its storyline
This one goes right into the bizarre section and a piece of news the world surely didn't see coming. 'Death Note', the cult comic is back with a special one-shot issue and it features President Donald Trump. A Gamespot report said the 88-page manga, titled, 'Death Note: Special One-Shot', written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata has a storyline where the Death Note falls into Trump's hands. The strip sees Ryuk handing the book to Trump. The report read that the president buys the book through a worldwide auction and his appearance is more of a cameo. The story follows a new rule created for the Death Note and a bidding war that follows. The manga was first created in 2003 and centers around a notebook with powers to kill people. Writing the name of the person in the book causes them to die. Ryuk or better known as a shinigami— the god of death uses the book. The Manga was brought to life on the small screen by Netflix in 2017 and was a major hit with Death Note fans.
