LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel Entertainment released the teaser of 'Deadpool & Wolverine' on Monday, February 12, and fans can't contain their excitement.

This highly anticipated film serves as the third installment in the 'Deadpool' franchise, signaling the return of Ryan Reynolds as the iconic 'Deadpool' after a six-year hiatus.

The addition of Deadpool and Wolverine to the MCU follows Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox in 2019.

This strategic move allowed Marvel Studios to regain control over these iconic characters, initially sold to Fox in 1994, along with the rights to the X-Men franchise and its associated characters.



 

'Deadpool & Wolverine' teaser gets fans excited

The 155-second teaser heralds a thrilling new era for the MCU, blending slapstick comedy and dark humor. The third installment seems elevated with a more polished and engaging cinematic experience as it unites two iconic characters on-screen.

Several fans on the Internet have speculated that Deadpool's arrival will revive the MCU. A fan on X wrote, "This will officially kick start the MCU again. Deadpool saving the MCU." When is 'Deadpool & Wolverine' getting released?

MCU enthusiasts, get ready to witness 'Deadpool' rewriting the history of the MCU alongside 'Wolverine' this summer. The film is directed by Shawn Levy who previously collaborated with Ryan Reynolds by directing 'Free Guy' (2021) and 'The Adam Project' (2022).

'Deadpool & Wolverine' is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 26, 2024.
