Spoilers for 'Deadliest Catch' Season 16 Episode 7 'Into the Red'

'Into the Red' rang in some major changes and these came as a massive surprise to fans who religiously tuned in every Tuesday to see their favorite crew crabbing in dangerous waters. One of the highlights this episode was the alliance that Captain Jake and Johnathan of the Saga-Bandit tried to form with Captain Keith Colburn of the Wizard. Partnership in many ways always spelled bad news for Keith and fans in a way were worried about their favorite skipper.

"This partnership sounds shaky. I still remember what happened with Junior years ago. #DeadliestCatch," a fan recollected. "Don't know how @crabwizard is gonna feel about a partnership, especially after getting burned by @CaptScottJr a few years. #DeadliestCatch," another fan seconded. But their fears came true when they realized the Bandit-Saga duo did a number on Keith. "ohhhhh...Keiths gonna be SOOO mad at Jonathan and jake! #DeadliestCatch," a fan opined.

"Oh boy. This isn't going to go well. Yikers! One less friend for poor @crabwizard. #DeadliestCatch," a viewer posted while another tweet read. "#deadliestcatch can't believe Jonathan is screwing Keith."

"At least @JakeVAnderson is laughing in the wheelhouse @captjohnathan #DeadliestCatch," another wrote.

"Will @crabwizard be happy with this carry-on? #DeadliestCatch," asked one of the fans who caught the episode. "They say a man is as good as his word. I guess we now know what kinda men J Hillstrand and J Anderson are #DeadliestCatch," a fan said.

That Saga-Bandit earned a fair share of haters shouldn't really come as a surprise either. "I’m surprised with @captjohnathan tonight — not a nice move on @crabwizard #DeadliestCatch," a fan remarked. "Time to put the Time Bandit hat in the closet. No pride in wearing that anymore. @FVTimeBandit#DeadliestCatch," another exclaimed.

"I suppose it was just a misunderstanding, but it looks really bad on the part of @JakeVAnderson and @captjohnathan when they basically screw @crabwizard over. After all, Jonathan is an old world captain. He should know better. #DeadliestCatch," a fan tweet read.

To sum up, here's one tag that will probably stick to Johnathan and Jake: "Wowwww.... what snakes #DeadliestCatch".

'Deadliest Catch' Season 16 airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on The Discovery Channel.
