Spoilers for 'Deadliest Catch' Season 16 Episode 11 'Chase Boat Rescue'

Maria Dosal has been one of those greenhorns that fans have grown to admire and respect since her debut this season in 'Deadliest Catch'. In Episode 11, things took a turn for the worse as Maria knocked herself out in the cod freezer after a rogue wave smashed into the Cornelia Marie. The greenhorn, while getting the cod for bait, was sent hurtling across and banged her head to the ceiling of the freezer room, suffering a concussion. However, by the end of the episode, she was back on deck.

"Put those peas back on your head would ya’ isn’t something you hear everyday @McManus_Casey @JoshHarrisDC #CorneliaMarie #DeadliestCatch," wrote a fan reliving one of the moments from the episode. "I seriously hope Maria stays at #DeadliestCatch she’s fantastic! #OhMyCod" hoped one of the fans. "Hey, at least she took it like a champ. #DeadliestCatch" wrote another.

"Why did Casey tell Maria he didn’t want her falling asleep? The common saying that falling asleep is bad for you when you have a concussion is a total myth. #DeadliestCatch" opined a viewer. "So Captain? Josh just sat in his chair while his greenhorn took a blow to her head.#Deadliestcatch" asked one of the fans. "I knew it was coming they have been foreshadowing #maria #DeadliestCatch #cornelliamarie," remarked a fan.

"Maria is out cold in the freezer!!” Literally #DeadliestCatch" tweeted one of the fans. "Right into the ceiling. Ouch! Poor girl. #DeadliestCatch" read another tweet.

"I wonder if each captain is required to take a course that helps them to identify and treat a concussion. #DeadliestCatch," asked another.

Minus the incident, it was a good day out at sea for the Cornelia Marie as they raked in Opilio crab in mega numbers. Their first couple of pots yielded 319 and 363 crabs making sure they were catching up to the Wizard in terms of the pounds of crab caught. On a side note, Russia has reached 10% of its crabbing quota while the US was at seven.

'Deadliest Catch' Season 16 airs on Tuesday at 8 pm ET on Discovery.
