Spoilers for 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 9 'Zari, Not Zari'

After what seems like forever, 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 is finally back and the show marked its return with a bombshell of a show.

Episode 9 'Zari, Not Zari' was quite a gamechanger and it had some delightful moments with Sara Lance / White Canary (Caity Lotz), Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and John Constantine (Matt Ryan) heading to the set of the iconic horror drama series 'Supernatural'.

For fans (us included) who were hoping to get some fun cameos from the Winchester brothers, no such luck, unfortunately. But while the episode may not have been the 'Legends' X 'Supernatural' crossover we wanted, one fan on Reddit has a pretty heartwarming theory about the show's existence on Earth-Prime and Sara's relationship to it.

"The Supernatural stuff made me laugh, but then I realized that Sara probably watched it with Laurel and after her conversation with Barry in COIE, the sense of familiarity and a tie to who she used to be could be a reason why she still watches it," the fan wrote.

"But that could also just be me being bitter about Laurel's death and looking for anything that could tangentially be related to her (f*** you Guggiemonster)."

"Also, Ava has loosened up so much since S3 yet she and Mick are still polar opposites. Found family truly is the best trope," the fan continued. "Lastly, I'm so very glad our 42 minutes of chaos has returned — but I'm even more glad the season has finished filming!"

That really is an interesting theory, though considering everything that happened in the episode including the death of Behrad Tarazi (Shayan Sobhian), it's unlikely we'll see Sara's love for 'SPN' revisited anytime soon.

Also, the episode showed the crew (not the cast) of 'Supernatural' getting turned into zombies for some reason and that's honestly a little confusing.

"Sara wondering about Season 15 of Supernatural feels like every SPN fan right at this moment," a fan commented. "Which by the way, they just left the set with a bunch of zombies. Are Jensen, Misha and Jared zombies or are they going to go back to set and be attacked by them? You can't leave us hanging there, writers!"

"The Legends crew killed Behrad off after we lost Ray & Nora & we didn’t get any Winchesters," another fan declared. "My disappointment is immeasurable & my day is ruined."

We're pretty sad to see Behrad go too but we are hoping the show will bring him back at some point down the road. This is 'Legends' of course and death is more of a revolving door for these guys than anyone else in the Arrowverse.

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on The CW.
