It may not be safe to go outside and attend a regular Comic-Con this year, but with the magic of the Internet, DC is bringing the much-loved event to you! Featuring a full array of celebrity guests, panels, and virtual events, DC FanDome is the ultimate Comic-Con experience for everything DC-related, all available from the safety of your home. Best of all, it's entirely free. We have all you need to know about the event, including major celebrity guests, panels, where to watch the experience online, and everything else you need to know about this unique Comic-Con extravaganza.

Date

DC FanDome is a special 24-hour event that begins at 1 pm ET on August 22.

Panels

There are four categories of panels for the big event: the Hall of Heroes, for the FanDome's expected Big Draws in the film & video game department, WatchVerse, for its television shows, KidsVerse, for its children's entertainment program, YouVerse, a section dedicated to the fandom with cosplay, DIY tips, fanart and more all featured. Finally, there is the FunVerse, containing interactive events, social media customizers, and merchandise, and InsiderVerse, which features tips and stories from industry insiders, drawing back the curtain on how DC Comics, books, shows and films all got made.

All panels are relatively short and on a tight schedule, one after the other, some even happening concurrently. But not to worry, every single panel is given an encore broadcast over the DC FanDome weekend. The panels are all approximately 15-30 minutes long, with some being as short as 10-minute features.

The biggest draws of the DC FanDome event are the panels related to DC Universe's film & television department, which will all be happening in the Hall of Heroes. Among those is the 'Wonder Woman 1984' panel, which kicks off the event with the cast and director of the film gathering to talk about the upcoming event. Another big event is the 'Snyder Cut of the Justice League' panel, where Zack Snyder himself fields fan questions about the HBO Max-sponsored cut of the film. There is also a 'Black Adam' panel, featuring the first news we have heard from the film in a while, and the con is rounded off with a panel on the eagerly awaited 'The Batman' film, with Matt Reeves.

There is a full schedule that you can customize to your tastes here.

Guests

Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot will be appearing on the 'Wonder Woman 1984' film. Starring as the titular Wonder Woman, Gadot has made a name for herself as the iconic Amazonian warrior princess in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', 'Justice League', and, of course, 'Wonder Woman'. She has also starred in 'Ralph Breaks the Internet,' 'Kathmandu,' and the 'Fast & Furious' franchise as Gisele.

Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder's story in regards to the 'Snyder Cut' of the 'Justice League' movie is unprecedented. Due to the tragic and unexpected passing of his daughter, Snyder was unable to complete direction on 'Justice League', and Joss Whedon was called in to take his place. The final movie was a critical disaster, and the fandom was extremely passionate about the original cut of the film being able to see the light of day. Launching a relentless campaign that was impossible to ignore, HBO Max fulfilled the dreams of many by allowing the Snyder Cut to be completed and will feature on the streaming service sometime in 2021. Zack Snyder will answer questions about the film in a panel. Snyder has also directed several other big Hollywood films, such as 'Man of Steel', 'Sucker Punch', 'Watchmen' and '300'.

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson began his career as the famed "The Rock" in WWE, but since then has gone on to be one of Hollywood's most familiar faces. He has starred in films such as 'The Mummy Returns', 'Jumanji', 'Moana', and 'The Fast & the Furious' franchise. His role as the Shazam villain Black Adam has been in the pipeline for years, with little word on what was happening with the film, until now on the 'Black Adam' panel.

DC FanDome will also feature Ezra Miller, Cress Williams, James Wan, Patty Jenkins, Matt Reeves, Zachary Levi, Jim Lee, James Gunn and more!

The DC FanDome event is free for all, internationally. All you need to do to watch the event is to click here to go to DCFanDome.com. No login is required for the event. There will also be encore broadcasts for each of the panels in case you miss them the first time around!
