Former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' star David Henrie officially charged for carrying a loaded gun inside LAX
Former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actor David Henrie has been charged officially after he was caught carrying a loaded gun in LAX earlier this month.
David was taken into custody after the TSA agents found the gun. And according to TMZ, he has now been charged “carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, and possessing a weapon in a sterile area of the airport” by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. The weapon David was carrying was an M&P Shield 9mm pistol.
After the arrest, the actor took to Twitter and released a statement about what happened. “I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today," he said. "I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport. I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciative of TSA’s efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country.”
