'Darkling Supremacy': Fans go gaga over Netflix's 'Shadow and Bone' Season 2 poster featuring Ben Barnes

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hold your bated breaths as Netflix dropped a jaw dropping poster of 'Shadow and Bone' Season 2 featuring Ben Barnes. Season 2 of the Netflix fantasy series is based on Leigh Bardugo's young adult fantasy novels 'Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising.' The series' first season released in April 2021, the first season took viewers deep into the fictional world dubbed the "Grishaverse" and introduced them to Alina Starkov (played by Jessie Mei Li), a young woman who discovers she has the rare power to summon light.

Fans also met the show's villain, The Darkling (played by Ben Barnes), as well as a slew of other memorable characters, including The Crows, a misfit gang of criminals tasked with kidnapping Alina. The Crows will also be returning, which includes Freddy Barker as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, Danielle Galliganas Nina Zenik and Calahan Skogman as Matthias Helvar. New faces will appear too in this new season.

The new season of 'Shadow and Bone' will show how 'every power has a price'

'Shadow and Bone' Season 2 is almost here, and Netflix will premiere the full trailer tomorrow but to make fans even more excited, the show's official Twitter account released a new poster that reads, "Every power has a price."



 

'I have waited for this for so long I could cry'

After the poster surfaced online, fans went gaga over the new poster. A fan said, "SCREAMING," while another wrote, "lets gooo mal the firebird this is spoiler lmaoo." A fan shared, "Oh I am excited." A fan commented, "DARKLING SUPREMACY," while another adds, "yeah i see what you've done there with those feathers behind mal." Lastly, a fan tweeted, "I have waited for this for so long I could cry," while another wrote, "Can't wait for this show."



 



 



 



 



 



 



 

Safe to say, fans are desperately waiting for this season to air even though they don't want to. However, English actor Lewis Tan will be playing Tolya Yul-Bataar, actress Anna Leong Brophy has been cast as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Irish actor Patrick Gibson will take on the character Nikolai Lantsov and Jack Wolfe is the sixth and final member of The Crows, Wylan Hendriks. 

'Shadow and Bone' returns for Season 2 on Netflix on March 16.
