In the first episode, Jason, as a professor explains the quantum physics principle of Schrödinger's cat, where a cat in a box is in a superposition where the cat is neither dead nor alive.

Jason in the alternate world uses the principles of quantum physics to create a box that could enable humans to move between alternate realities in superposition.

The alternate realities are the choices one makes. Every choice creates a different reality and through the box, one can live different realities like Jason is doing.
