Netflix has just unveiled the trailer for 'Daredevil' Season Three. Along with the first footage, the red streaming giant also confirmed the release date and, fans can rest assured, it is not that far away.

Set to release on October 19, the trailer begins with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) standing with a bloodied nose in the basement of the church. “You can suffocate evil, starve it, lock it behind bars... But it will find a way to come back even stronger. There’s only one true way to end evil: to finish it for good."

“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself,” the lawyer narrates in the first season three teaser. “Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I’d rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock.”

Between the narration, we can see Matt walk through a prison hallway as frantic hands try to grab him. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, the kingpin and Matt's archnemesis, is briefly seen smoothening the front of his white suit. Then the scene shifts back to glimpses of Matt standing on a rooftop with the Daredevil costume between shots of him with a black bandana pulled over his eyes and a black shirt stained red. He smiles as the trailer concludes and says, “Let the devil out.”

The release dates of 'Daredevil' season three was first revealed by Thailand's Netflix account, around last week. But the leak was not confirmed by Netflix until today. The announcement also comes along with a new poster, which shows Matt shirtless with his arms stretched wide, imitating the crucifixion and his problematic interpretation of his Catholic faith.

In the previous season, we noticed that he bailed on his Daredevil identity to live a life of a civilian. In fact, the last time we saw the masked vigilante was at the end of 'The Defenders' where he and the Elektra were in the middle of their final battle when the building came down on them. Presumed to be dead, it was only in the last scene that fans could heave a sigh of relief when the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen was scooped up by some nuns to be treated for his injuries. That was the only image left behind. Now that he's back, he looks hellbent on raining havoc even as Fisk is out to dish out some vengeance of his own.
