Unlike other teenage dramas, USA Network's 'Dare Me’' has emerged as one of the best television shows by retaining the realistic factor. Besides showcasing the toxicity of the cutthroat competition of cheerleading, 'Dare Me' most articulately navigates the struggles of teens through the lenses of its characters.

Episode 5 titled 'Parallel Trenches', showcases the never-before-seen image of Beth Cassidy (Marlo Kelly), as she struggles to cope with the aftermath of one of her wild nights.

Her emotional distress is indicative of her downfall and fans are truly shocked to see the flip in one of the strongest characters on the show. "I'm a literal MESS after tonight's episode tho. like. mascara down my face MESS. i just want to wrap beth in a blanket and protect her," wrote one fan.

Another added, “#dareme beth really had a full-blown panic attack, SHAKING and she still pulled off her cheer routine."

'Parallel Trenches' seems to have gotten imprinted strongly on the minds of the viewers, who took to social media to heap it with praise.  "When I started working on #DareMe, everyone was talking about this episode from my first day there. It's a great one."

Only five episodes in and fans are seen calling the latest episode the best so far, thanks to its compelling plotline. Not only are the viewers surprised to see the vulnerable side to Beth, but are also seen sympathizing with her to a large extent.

"So did nobody notice Beth during this performance? Cause girl was absolutely OFF and clearly needs helps. #DareMe," said one fan. Meanwhile, some of the viewers are developing interest in the series with each episode.

"Been watching #dareme with @JamesTateHill. I'm getting the Lynch vibe (Twin Peaks), but the show has something all its own, too. Addy is an original but recognizable character. Brilliant adaptation thus far," tweeted another fan of 'Dare Me'.
