'Darcey and Stacey': Darcey's dad wonders if she is prioritizing Georgi over her two daughters amid pandemic
The coronavirus pandemic left everyone shaken as it turned their lives upside down and the Silva family was no different. The latest episode (September 20) showed an insight into how the family had been doing after people were advised to stay at home. Thanks to Darcey Silva's daughter, the family had a nice time doing yoga together.
During this time, Darcey brought up the topic of her new Bulgarian boyfriend Georgi Rusev, who she had been missing dearly. Darcey felt sad about leaving Georgi behind and knowing he had no family in the US, she felt it would be better if he tagged along with her family.
While Darcey was convinced it was a good idea, Mike Silva had doubts about who he really is. Darcey explained that he was her new boyfriend and they had been spending a good amount of time talking to each other. Mike feared that Darcey might have plans of marrying Georgi, but she made it clear that marriage was not on her plate.
Speaking to the camera, Mike admitted that he was worried about Darcey as she had the tendency of moving "rapidly" and "not consciously". He took a leaf out of his own life and pointed out how tough relationships could be. He further pointed out that Darcey's life was not just her, but also involved her two daughters.
Thinking about them, Mike feared what this new relationship had in store for Darcey. Seeing how things did not end well with Jesse Messter and Tom Brooks, Mike wondered if history would repeat. However, Darcey made it clear tat Georgi was not like them. She even offered Georgi a chance to come and stay with her.
Speaking to him on the phone, Darcey explained how she missed the physical touch and wanted him close to her. She became emotional thinking about how Georgi might be feeling as he stayed in his apartment alone. However, he assured her everything was fine and he did not mind staying alone.
While she felt at ease, Darcey wondered how long she would have to wait until she could meet Georgi. Will she finally make the decision of spending quarantine with him? 'Darcey and Stacey' airs on Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
