'Dancing With the Stars' Season 29: Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart's low rank has fans saying 'scoring is fixed'

While Carrie said that Weir's footstep was quite 'odd', Derek and Bruno seconded her saying the pair needs to make fewer mistakes

The second episode of Season 29 of 'Dancing With the Stars' is much more intense than the premiere as the celebrity participants and their pro-dancers partners will be going through their first elimination based on the score they obtain on tonight's (September 23) episode, paired with the last and live voting by fans. 

Olympic skater Johnny Weir and his dancing partner Britt Stewart who held the sixth rank in the previous episode took to stage today to put thier Tango performance on the display to Lady Gaga's hit song 'Poker Face'. Prior to his appearance on the stage, Weir briefly spoke about his love for Gaga, her work and the cordial relationship he shares with the singer's mother. Even though the duo seemed confident about thier performance, especially for Weir who wouldn't wait to show his moves to Gaga's famous track, the judges weren't as convinced with their Tango performance. 

While Carrie said that Weir's footstep was quite "odd", Derek and Bruno seconded her saying the pair needs to make fewer mistakes. Weir and Stewart finished with a total score of 18, with 6 from each of the judges. Their total score from two episodes is 36 and the fans' vote will decide if the pair is eligible for the next round. 

Even though the judges didn't seem too pleased with their performance, the skater has received a lot of love of love and support from fans on social media, with many favoring the pair over the judges' criticism. 

One fan wrote, "@DancingABC Wow obviously you don't like Johnny Weir. He is SO SO Good. Love him. Your scoring is fixed." Adding to the previous tweet another wrote, "Quit mentioning Johnny Weir's footwork - he's spent more than half his life on the ice. Rinks not in the budget? #DWTS " Meanwhile, questioning the judges for giving Weir really low score, one fan asked, "@DancingABC how did #johnnyweir only receive 18pts? #rigged"

Meanwhile some fans couldn't stop raving about Weir's sense of humor, especially while talking about his friendship with Gaga. One fan tweeted, "JOHNNY GAGA......... johnny weir is genuinely so funny and i love him". Another wrote, "I LOVE JOHNNY WEIR SO MUCH #DWTS "
