‘Dancing With the Stars’ pros Sasha Farber and Emma Slater SPLIT after 4 years of marriage, fans 'knew it'

According to reports, the duo hasn’t filed for a divorce yet but they are figuring out how to go about it

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: If reports are to be believed, 'Dancing with the Stars' professionals Sasha Farber and Emma Slater have broken up after four years of marriage. Since the beginning of the year, many fans sniffed some trouble off this ballroom when the duo stopped posting their pictures together on Instagram. In fact, the once much-in-love couple did not share a post to acknowledge their fourth wedding anniversary in March as well.

Fans were also quick to notice that all was not well with the couple when Slater attended fellow 'Dancing with the Stars' professional Brandon Armstrong's wedding in July without her husband Sasha. “They’ve been apart for many months now,” a source told US Weekly. “They both have not been wearing their wedding rings and are each leading a single life.”

Though the split is confirmed, the source has reported that the duo hasn’t filed for a divorce yet but they are “figuring out” how to go about it. The situation becomes more awkward as the now broken-up lovers need to navigate through the show's new season together. They have both been mainstays at the show, especially for the past five seasons. Recently, they together choreographed several routines for the latest season of 'So You Think You Can Dance'.

But similar to their initial break up in 2014, the source believes they will continue to work together in their professional capacities. "They’re pros and won’t let their personal life get in the way of DWTS," they explained. Also adding that they’ll be “leaning” on their friends “for support.” 

Farber and Slater's love life

Farber (38) and Slater (33), first got together more than a decade ago in 2011 but broke up in 2014. Back then, speaking with Glamour, Slater had said "I don’t think we’re supposed to finish together. I think there are other people that might make us both individually happy."

However, the couple got back together soon after, and in 2016 they got engaged when Farber proposed during a live taping event of 'Dancing with the Stars' after they performed 'Just The Way You Are' by Bruno Mars. He surprised Slater in front of the awestruck audience: "I love you so much. Will you marry me?" The answer was a big fat 'yes'.

The happy couple tied the knot and had a beautiful ceremony at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles in 2018. Their wedding was attended by their close friends and family including 'DWTS' pros Hayley Erbert, Witney Carson, Brittany Cherry, Lindsay Arnold and Jenna Johnson - who were on bridesmaids' duties. 

Meanwhile, fans have been reacting to the split saying, "Wish them both the best moving forward loved how professional they handled this and how cordial they still are."Another fan said, "I knew it they went from posting all the time to nothing at all!"
