‘The Bachelorette’ fame Kaitlyn Bristowe has come a long way since her journey began on ‘The Dancing with the Stars’ Season 29. After managing to remain on the top of the rank chart for two consecutive weeks despite an ankle injury, the reality star used the platform in the latest (October 5) episode of 'DWTS' to dedicate a beautiful performance to her boyfriend Jason Tartick.
Before taking to the stage, Bristowe reflected on her love life with Tartick. She said how she never thought she would ever fall for him. ‘The Bachelorette’ star also revealed that she and Tartick went separate ways after meeting for the first time.
How Bristowe’s podcast played cupid in her relationship with Tartick
Bristowe and her current boyfriend Tartick hit it off when the latter had appeared on the reality star’s podcast. On ‘DWTS’, she reveals that she jokingly asked Tartick if he would ask her out on a date and he did! It appears as if he knew what drew him towards Bristowe as he had told US Weekly ahead of their first date: "She is a down-to-earth, beautiful woman who has a great sense of humor. She seems very strong and knows what she wants and empowers women."
They didn’t shy away from sharing their first date shenanigans on their respective social media handles, thus confirming their newly budding headline-making relationship. The couple reportedly stepped out together in less than 24 hours since their first hangout to spend some quality time together and were spotted strolling about holding hands. Following their first weekend together, Bristowe opened up about dating Tartick and said, "We both feel like we’re established and where we wanna be in our lives and we have, like, the self-love and respect to actually, like, be in a mature, healthy relationship. I would be upset if he was dating anyone else and I think he would be upset if I was dating anyone else.”
It’s been over a year since the duo embarked on a romantic journey and they are leaving no stone unturned in setting major relationship goals. Besides calling themselves lucky to have met each other, the couple has also expanded their new-found family by adopting rescue dogs. What's more? They are reportedly considering the next big step in their relationship, by talking marriage. Bristowe confirmed in June that they have picked an engagement ring, It’s only a matter of time before Tartick puts a ring on her finger.
In the latest episode of 'DWTS', Bristowe and Artem danced to Viennese waltz for ‘Beautiful Crazy’ by Luke Combs. The reality star said that the song reminds her of her beau. The judges absolutely loved their performance, especially her flexibility. They received a total score of 25.
