Dad throws 8-month-old girl at wall for distracting him while video-gaming as mom watches
On February 10, officials confirmed that the parents of an 8-month-old girl in Omaha intentionally threw her against a wall as her father felt she was a distraction while he was video gaming. While the father was arrested in December 2021, the mother only recently got remanded for finally revealing the truth behind the brutal crime.
In late November 2021, an 8-month-old baby’s head was fractured due to her being thrown at the wall by the father. But the couple who got arrested recently lied saying that the baby hurt herself due to falling off from the couch twice while changing the diaper. Suspicious medics immediately contacted the cops, and the father, Theodor Hurt, 23, was initially arrested in December 2021. Later, during the second interview, mother, Dakota Vick, 24, was also arrested as she finally stated the truth, saying, “he (Theodor) became frustrated with his daughter for crying while he was trying to play video games and drink shots”. This truth shocked the officials even when they knew that the initial statements were completely a lie.

Theodor who was playing with his online friends seems to have had enough with the baby’s crying and so, took her upstairs and brutally threw the infant against the wall. While this happened, Dakota watched it without having the least bit of concern. What is even worse is that they both were prepared to lie about abusing their child. Meanwhile, this couple also fosters their other four kids aged, 2,4,6, and 8, who are all under the safety of the police now. Though there were initial witnesses to back up the lie regarding the child’s fracture, officials dug in due to the high suspicions. In fact, the mother-in-law of Dakota also said that she saw the child fall off the couch on November 19. But sadly, she also had no clue about the truth until it all came to light. As of now, the couple is in police custody and they’ve been charged guilty along with $80,000+ charges.
Twitter has been raging with tweets where the users have been bashing at this awful act done by parents who were supposed to take care of the child. One user on twitter wrote, "If game was this dufus' priority was gaming, he shouldn't have had a baby. Also what sort of a reason?!😒 That baby doesn't have so many lives like his game characters can have (ノ｀Д´)ノ彡┻━┻" Another user expressed in just a few words saying, "The dad was born evil"
