Production for all Arrowverse shows may have halted, but that isn't stopping 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' from creating new content. A new short film brings back Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee as Hawkman and Hawkgirl, to see how well they're dealing with the lockdown.

The film, which is less than four minutes long, sees Hawkman in a state of depression after receiving a break-up video from Hawkgirl. With the Covid-19 lockdown, Hawkman can't even throw himself into his work as a superhero, leaving him in a state of depression and confessing his woes to a Blockbuster video employee. The film was directed by 'The Last Blockbuster' director Taylor Morden and was shot during lockdown.

The film features Hawkman's mace, which will be auctioned off to benefit the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, which works to bail out small bookstores and comic shops struggling with financial hardship and The Conscious Kid, an education, research and policy organization dedicated to reducing bias and promoting positive identity development in youth. The film was released exclusively on ComicBook.com, which you can watch here.

According to the site, this video is part of a larger project that enourages fans to send in their own videos of comedic vignettes set within alternate worlds featured on 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow.' Unlike the video featuring Hawkman and Hawkgirl, these videos will be entirely fan-created and will be released as an anthology on June 9.

"It was lovely to bring him back and to sort of do a different take, a lighter take, like what Casper [Crump] got to do," Hentschel told ComicBook.com. "And a bit of sensitivity too because I always wanted to bring some of that to the show, and we just never got around to it. It was really lovely, it was really nice to mess around with that, put him in a pink bathrobe and fluffy, weird slippers. I enjoyed it."

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' is one of the few Arrowverse shows that got to film its season in its entirety and did not have to cut short their season finale. That finale airs next week as the Legends go up against the Fates in a warped, dystopian timeline for the fate of humanity.

The season finale 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' airs on June 2 on The CW.
