'Crisis on Infinite Earths' Part 3: Cisco and Team Flash finally show up, but meet a grim end; Is this the last we've seen of them?

Team Flash is finally here. With the stakes being a lot higher, the team expands with supporting characters coming in from different Earths.
If it was Team Supergirl in the opening episode of the 'Crisis', it is Team Flash that makes a refreshing appearance in Part 3. What's more, Cisco has been bestowed with the Vibe powers to stop the anti-matter cannon and delay the supposedly inevitable end.
However, the episode shows the team succumbing to The Anti-Monitor's Anti-Matter Wave. Pariah (Tom Cavanagh), who is part of the casualty manages to teleport the seven Paragons— Kate (Ruby Rose), Kara (Melissa Benoist), Barry (Grant Gustin), J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau), Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) and Superman from Earth-96 (later usurped by Lex Luthor).
That Cisco goes on to become Vibe was something we saw coming right at the start of the latest season of 'The Flash'. He was seen as Vibe in Barry's visions of the future that had sparked many theories about his return.
It is saddening to see Team Flash die in the 'Crisis' though. However, there may also be a plot point in the final episodes that revives these heroes.
After all, the show does have a post-'Crisis' chapter and it makes no sense to kill off major characters. And if Team Flash will be back by the end of the multiverse-shattering battle, then rest assured, Team Supergirl will make their way back as well.
But for now, it is still a gut-wrenching feel that's eating fans. What are your thoughts on Cisco's return as Vibe and the collective demise of Team Flash?
