Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell had been counting down days to say their 'I do's' and the pair were prepared to get married surrounded by their loved ones. To make their day special, the couple decided to include the wildlife as part of their big day. Bindi knew that on this occasion, it was important for her to bring her animal family and human family together.

She found the perfect place for her wedding and knew that her father, Steve Irwin would have loved it. Bindi recalled Steve had always been a fan of the African jungle and wanted to bring it to their zoo. When the family made that dream of his a reality, Bindi knew it had to be the place where Chandler and her get married.

She had this perfect idea in her mind about how she would walk down the aisle and for the guests to enjoy the beauty of the flora and fauna. Unfortunately, given the situation that the world found itself in 2020, the coronavirus pandemic ruined their idea of a perfect wedding.

To make things worse, the media got a hint about the wedding and decided to invade their privacy. After coronavirus was announced as an epidemic, the Australia government had announced a halt on marriages. They had agreed for a wedding to take place as long as the gathering included just the person officiating the marriage, the bride and groom, and not many family members.

Hearing this, Bindi and Chandler knew they had to get married immediately. While the pair decided to rush things, another surprise that hit them was the media. When the preparation or the big day was going on, a helicopter started flying above the area and it happened to be the reporters who were trying to click a picture of the wedding.

Due to the sound of the helicopter, all the animals started getting scared and the pair knew it would be impossible to have the wedding outside. This led them to take the wedding inside and not have animals as part of it.

While they knew it wasn't exactly what they had in mind, the pair was happy to know that they were finally getting married and soon going to live the rest of their life together.
