Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell's magical wedding had everyone believe in love once again. Even though Steve Irwin was not there to celebrate her big day, it seems like he had always known Bindi's love of getting married.

In the latest episode of 'Crikey! It's The Irwins' (April 18), Bindi revealed that ever since she was a young girl, she had dreamed about her big day. Terri Irwin added that Bindi would always choose to take a wedding magazine whenever they went on a trip.

Terri recalled she would offer Bindi to pick something to keep her engaged during their long journey and unlike any other girl her age, Bindi would always enjoy reading a wedding magazine. Bindi revealed that one reason she always looked forward to her wedding was the way her childhood had been.

She confessed growing up in an environment that had her wearing khaki pants and being in the mud nearly all the time had her thinking that her wedding day would be a special day just for her. In fact, her love for the wedding grew to the extent that she dreamed about wearing the perfect wedding dress for her big day.

Bindi revealed she tried her mother's wedding dress when she was 12. She recalled that she had seen pictures of her mother wearing it and when she got a chance, she did not give up on it. Terri revealed that the wedding dress she wore had been worn by her older sister and was nearly 50 plus years now.

While Bindi hinted that she wanted to wear that wedding dress, she revealed it had not been possible because she was not the same height as her mother. She further revealed that it was impossible to make changes to the dress as it was too old and would fall apart. This led Bindi to make the decision of buying a dress that would look a lot like the one her mother wore.

Since it was coming from the US to Australia, she knew that there wasn't a possibility to alter it. Luckily, the dress fit perfectly and slowly, all her dreams about getting married were coming true.
