Court approves Aaron Paul's petition to change his 'difficult to pronounce' official surname
MOSCOW, IDAHO: The 'Breaking Bad' actor Aaron Paul and his wife Lauren Parsekian's official request to change their surnames has been approved. Aaron was initially known as Aaron Paul Sturtevant. However, he later adopted his stage name Aaron Paul as his surname 'Sturtevant' was difficult to pronounce.
According to Daily Mail, his wife Lauren, 35, had also filed to change their surname to Paul. Meanwhile, they had also filed a petition to change the legal first names of their son of 7 months from Casper Emerson to Ryden Caspian. The duo also shares a four-year-old daughter, Story Anabelle.

The duo claimed in the documents that they were required to give a name at the hospital for their son, which was Casper. At a later point, they had a change of mind and switched to Ryden. According to Distractify, the files state, "Aaron and Lauren explain they were required to give a name at the hospital and went with Casper Emerson ... but later came up with a name they liked better. It's only now that they're legally making the switch." In the case file, Aaron and Lauren claimed that they want to "keep the family name consistent."
In April, when Aaron introduced the baby to the world through Instagram, the actor called his son, Ryden. He stated, "My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you. I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly." Aaron and Lauren married in 2013 after meeting at Coachella in 2009 and getting engaged in 2011. Lauren is popular as an anti-bullying activist and the founder of the 'Kind Campaign'. She has also directed and produced the 2011 documentary 'Finding Kind', reported by Distractify.
In August, Aaron and Bryan Cranston returned with their iconic role of 'Breaking Bad' in the final season of 'Better Call Saul'. A spokesperson said, "Bryan and Aaron both won numerous awards for their incredible roles, including Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys, making their inclusion in the final season a must-watch event for Breaking Bad fans."
