Couple who cruelly inflicted 4-month-old with 28 fractured bones sentenced to 8 years in prison
The couple from Hove in East Sussex were sentenced to eight years in prison on charges including assaulting or neglecting a child and causing unnecessary suffering
A couple who inflicted life-threatening injuries on a 4-month-old baby boy, fracturing 28 bones in his body, has now been jailed. A four-month-old infant's knees, ankles, ribs, and arm were broken in cruel attacks by Aleksandra Kopinska, 22, and Adam Jendrzeczak, 32, the Mirror reported.
The child suffered "immense pain" at their hands and had to be rushed to the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, UK. Describing the injuries as "truly appalling", Judge Christine Henson told the Hove Crown Court the couple, hailing from Hove in East Sussex, had shown “wicked cruelty towards a tiny baby”.
