Coffey and Criscilla Anderson are undoubtedly the fairy tale couple who somehow manage to rise stronger together through every hurdle, every challenge that comes their way. She is a true-blue country musician, while Criscilla's got some excellent moves and is a professional hip-hop dancer. They take care of each other and that aspect of their relationship was documented beautifully in Netflix's 'Country Ever After.' The reality TV series follows the couple as they go about their professional and personal lives whilst tackling life-changing problems and finding ways to weather the storm.

When Criscilla was undergoing chemotherapy for stage 3C colon cancer, she and Coffey were not the kind who had given up hope. They stayed positive and pushed through it to see better days in their lives but not before she has felt tremendous pain and anxiety during every round of infusion. She could do it because Coffey was around who didn't look at her like it was a lost battle.

Every step of the way, he was there to assure her how much of a fighter she is and the survivor she can be. Most people lay in the bed wishing for it the chemo session to be over but Criscilla is cut from a different. "My secret to getting through chemo is three things. A charged phone, a good attitude, and something to keep your mind off of it," she said as she video-called a friend to understand where they were at planning Coffey's surprise birthday party.

It was surprising that Criscilla could channel such positivity even during the darkest of times. She described her chemo session as "getting poison pumped through her veins" as she lay there for six hours. She said she has scar tissues on both of her hands and has felt numerous pricks from the needles that are pierced every time she undergoes a chemotherapy.

It was quite an emotional rollercoaster for Criscilla and her family because it was her last chemo. They were teared up, happy, and cheering her on as she wrapped up her exhausting tryst with the disease, for a while.

'Country Ever After' Season 1 can be watched on Netflix.
