John-David, Abbie, Lauren and Josiah Duggar decide to go together for a birthing class to make sure the girls have been doing well. The couples did not waste any time and jumped right into the session as they tried out different poses they were asked to do. Abbie and Lauren also gave insight into their pregnancy plan.

Abbie revealed that she would be heading to the hospital once she feels the contractions are increasing. However, she decided to wait at home until she feels it is the right time to go to the hospital. Abbie added that she was keeping her options open and was not settling for home birth without looking at other things. Meanwhile, Lauren revealed she would be having a hospital birth because it is safer. She further added that she is opting for a natural birth. As the couple managed to get through the session, the class instructor had other plans up her sleeves. She asked the men to wear a pumpkin so that they know what it feels like to be pregnant.

Josiah admitted that he now understood how hard it was for women. At the same time, he confessed that he had a better idea of why pregnant women had a hard time picking up things from the floor or why they needed a pillow between their legs while sleeping. The activity helped the men understand all the hardships young mothers have to go through. Just when they thought the activity was over, they were shocked to find out that they would have to experience labor pain too. John-David had a hard time adjusting to the pain while Josiah was getting tensed up.

As the men struggled to handle the pain, the girls seemed to enjoy watching the men suffer. Jim Duggar admitted it was a good way for all the men to know what a woman goes through during pregnancy. As the labor pain session came to an end, both of them agreed that they have empathy for what their wives go through. They further added that they were better prepared to help their wives during pregnancy as they now knew what they had to go through.

'Counting On' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
