'Counterpart': Nazanin Boniadi asks 'ever wondered what Management looks like?', here's a clue

Season 2 of STARZ's 'Counterpart' has given us every reason to remain hooked to the show. With a topic as disputable as the existence of alternate universes, 'Counterpart' follows the existence of two parallel worlds, the Prime world, and the Alpha world, and the underlying philosophy of survival surrounding these two worlds.

Starring J.K. Simmons as Howard Silk, James Cromwell as Yanek, Christiane Paul as Mira, and Olivia Williams as Emily Burton Silk, the show is about to disclose its biggest secret in the upcoming Episode 6. Set to air January 20, it will follow up on the incidents of Episode 5 which left us wondering about the relationship between Yanek and Mira.

Just before the air date of Episode 6, actress Nazanin Boniadi, who plays the role of Clair on the show, posed her followers on Twitter with the question: "Ever wondered what management looks like?". Her question is most relevant, as on the show, the Management is the only omnipresent character whose identity continues to baffle viewers.

Management is known to spearhead the entire functioning of the office of Interface and it is under their guidance that Emily was asked to conceal Mira's real identity in Episode 5. However, Episode 6 is set to reveal a very different side of Management, and viewers can probably guess what it will be.

For the longest time on the show, Management was considered to be a body whose possibilities were boundless and who can oversee the diplomacy of the two identical worlds. But where did it all begin, and who is Management? Episode 6 is all set to answer these questions as it steps back all the way into the year 1987 when it all began.

As already hinted in Episode 5, Yanek was one of the founding members of the Crossing, but there were several others involved who had spearheaded the myriad research that went into establishing the office of Interface to study about the differences and similarities of the two worlds.

The group was curious about the million possibilities of the two worlds, and let's just say as greed often takes the best of humans, this group of scientists soon fell prey to one of the vices that are represented on the show. They lusted for the differences between the two worlds (as clearly similarities are always boring) and when they failed to spot a difference, they began creating their own set of theories.

In their pursuit of knowledge, the group discovered that their worlds are not just two separate entities but they are two versions of the same universe. This is where they begin to falter and pretty soon things begin to fall apart for them, and they couldn't hold it together.

It can be said, that probably to conceal their own guilt over the chaos that was created, the Management immediately chose to hide its identity even from its employees. As Episode 6 returns January 20, it can be said the hard truth of 'Counterpart' will certainly leave the audience doubting the very existence of our own world.
