Man quarantined for coronavirus runs out naked and bites elderly woman to death: 'His business was suffering'
A man, who was forced into quarantine in his home over fears of coronavirus, ripped his clothes off and ran into the street where he bit an elderly woman who was sleeping.
The man has been named as ManiKandan who had flown back from Sri Lanka to his home in India. He was ordered by authorities to stay home in quarantine for a period of 14 days. As per reports in India, one week after the self-isolation, the man, 35, started to rip his clothes off. He then ran into the streets where he spotted an elderly woman sleeping nearby. The incident took place in Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India. As per Yahoo! News, the man raced up to the woman and then lunged at her neck biting down hard.
The woman woke up and was screaming when the nude man ran away. A mob tracked the man down while friends and relatives of the woman rushed her to hospital last Friday, March 20. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
The mob was able to successfully track down the man and hand him over to the police. The police released a statement saying, "The accused, Manikandan, has a history of mental illness for which he was treated in Madurai (a city in Tamil Nadu state) back in 2010."
"On Friday, he disrobed himself and ran from his home. He tripped and fell a hundred meters from his home and targeted the elderly woman, who was sitting outside her house. According to the man's family, ever since Manikandan returned from Sri Lanka, he was stressed about losses his business suffered there and his mental health deteriorated," the statement read.

The unnamed man had been caught on camera performing an irresponsible prank in front of terrified passengers while he was on board a crowded train in the southern city of Almaty. In the video clip, the man is seen staining a napkin with fake blood before getting onboard the train. The prankster then escalates the situation by coughing at passengers around him who immediately start to back away. After the video was shared online, the man was identified, tracked down, and arrested for his juvenile prank.
Very recently, a video of a Missouri man went viral on social media after he licked toiletry products in a supermarket. In the footage that has since been shared repeatedly on Twitter, he can be seen running his tongue on the toiletries on the shelf of the supermarket while looking at the camera. The caption tagged with the video says: “I’m a nasty moths f***er.” His actions left people baffled on Twitter with many demanding his immediate arrest.
