‘Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys’: Corey Feldman reveals why the bombshell expose will have only one showing
Actor Corey Feldman, on Sunday, took to his Twitter account to reveal the reason why his much-anticipated exposé titled '(My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys' will only be aired once. The musician and one-time teen idol said that he wants people across the world to watch his documentary live together, adding that this will be the first time viewers will experience a film in this manner globally.
"Just imagine how cool that is?!?" Feldman tweeted. "To know that you are standing up for #ChildrensRights by showing abusers we are no longer afraid! You can no longer keep us silent! I found a way to make #Survivors voices heard! #MyTruthDoc will be the flagship for a whole new avenue for indy film distribution!"
Feldman had long promised an exposé of high-profile celebrities in Hollywood who engage in pedophilia and continue to work in the entertainment industry. The actor claims to have fulfilled his promise in the new film set to release March 9. The documentary is touted to be a provocative exposé where the actor will reveal the details of the most "emotionally trying" period of his life.
The film will air only once and interested viewers across the world will have to watch it at the same time. The documentary will stream live at 8 pm on the West Coast, which means 11 pm on the East Coast. Feldman, his family, friends and colleagues will also be watching the live stream at the time in a private screening.
The actor, in his tweets, added that the medium has been designed to cut out the "middle man" and the viewers can see the content of the film uncensored. "For the very first time, we can globally learn, and stand together through an artistic medium designed to cut out the middle man, and give viewers a chance to see a film that would otherwise not get seen by the masses! #Uncut #Uuncensored #Raw #Truth #MyTruthDoc #ComingSoon," Feldman tweeted.
Feldman, in a previous statement, said he is keeping a promise —through the film — to his best friend, late Canadian actor Corey Haim, to reveal to the world about what really happened to the two when they were young actors in Hollywood.
Ever since the film was announced, Feldman claimed that he and his family had to employ 24-hour security. The actor, in a recent live video on Twitter, said his allegations against Hollywood celebrities have led him to live in fear.
The 48-year-old actor said: "There are things you have to do for insurance reasons when you’re putting out something like this. This is very, very dangerous stuff and it’s very risky stuff. You know we have to have 24-hour armed security, we don’t know what’s gonna happen." Feldman also claimed he survived multiple murder attempts after he made the Hollywood pedophilia allegations.
