TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA: Thanksgiving is around the corner, and it comes with a lot of fun, food and activities. Even inmates behind bars are provided with special dishes, and as per a report, convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell will be treated with tofurkey on the national holiday.

The 60-year-old is currently serving her time in Federal Correctional Institution in Florida’s Tallahassee, where her Thanksgiving day will reportedly begin with a light yet healthy breakfast, which will include Bran Flakes, fruit, and whole wheat bread along with some milk, like almond. For lunch, instead of turkey, she will apparently be given tofurkey because she is very particular about her diet.

Radaronline.com noted, “Her tofurkey pairing options include macaroni and cheese, sweet potato pie, and cornbread dressing — IF she decides on a cheat day.” The special menu also contains collard greens and cranberry sauce. However, dinner will reportedly be light for Jeffrey Epstein's former madame. She will be provided with “a boxed meal, including a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, potato chips, fruit, and an unidentified dessert,” Radaronline.com stated.

However, Thanksgiving is not going to be just about food for prisoners of Federal Correctional Institution as a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told Radaronline.com that they will be given multiple options of contests and tournaments, like “a 4-by-4 relay, volleyball and kickball tournament, 3-point shooting contest, and board games.”

After she was sentenced for two decades in June, Maxwell issued an apology by reportedly saying, “I empathize deeply with all of the victims in this case. I also acknowledge that I have been convicted of helping Jeffrey Epstein commit these crimes. And despite the many helpful and positive things I have done in my life and will continue to do … I know that my association with Epstein and this case will forever and permanently stain me.”

She also added, “Jeffrey Epstein should have been here before all of you, he should have stood before you all those years ago, he should have stood before you in 2005, again in 2009, and again in 2019. I am sorry for the pain that you experienced …”

But her apology backfired as one of her accusers Sarah Ramsome reportedly asserted, “I wish she was sorry when she was busy forcing me into a room to be raped. She should have been sorry then. As a matter of fact, there shouldn’t even be an apology. Rape is rape. To force someone into a room to be raped – there’s not enough sorrys in the world. ‘I am sorry’ doesn’t cut it. And as far as I’m concerned actions speak louder than words.”
