Convict rapes and infects woman with HIV a day after release, then kidnaps girl, 13, rapes and kills her in forest
A convicted Russian criminal after getting released from jail raped a woman and gave her HIV before abducting, assaulting, and murdering a teen girl. For the most part of his life, Alexander Brezhnev was behind bars after he was convicted of several crimes including robbery, theft, and grievous bodily harm. As reported by The Sun, a court was told that the 38-year-old had been found guilty of numerous crimes eight times and sent to prison.
However, a day after being released on June 16, 2020, from jail, he sexually assaulted a female adult "acquaintance" despite knowing that he has HIV. Brezhnev also threatened the victim not to open her mouth before the authorities, otherwise, he would kill her. The rape infected the woman too with HIV. However, the criminal did not stop there since a week after that, he went on to kidnap a 13-year-old schoolgirl whom he raped and murdered.

Yulia Klimenkova was kidnapped by Brezhnev from the local "House of Culture'' in the village of Borodinsky, Tula, western Russia. The teenager was then taken to a forest where the man "severely beat her, and committed rape". He also stabbed her "multiple times", which resulted in her death. Klimenkova’s remains were found three days later and the man was caught soon after that.
Brezhnev was found guilty of rape, sexual assault, causing HIV infection, kidnapping, grievous bodily harm, and murder of a minor by the court. He was awarded life imprisonment in a harsh prison, from which he will never be free.
In another incident, a Tennessee dance teacher was given nine months in prison and four years of probation last year after he pleaded guilty to raping a 16-year-old boy and exposing him to HIV. John Conner III initially connected with the teenager on social media in 2015, after which he had unprotected sex with the teen a number of times in his car.
As the sexual relationship started, the victim also joined the man’s dance team, The Infamous Dancerettes, which had appeared on Season 2 of Lifetime's reality TV dance show 'Bring It' where competitive dance teams in the mid-South are presented. The duo continued their relationship while sharing nude photos and text messages about their sexual activity. Throughout this time, Conner never told the victim that he had tested positive for HIV in 2012. But in 2016, he was exposed after the teenager told his parents about his sexual encounters with the 30-year-old and insisted on being tested for the virus because he had heard that his sexual partner had it. The test result confirmed that the victim was positive and it also revealed that Conner had the disease. After the shocking revelation, the dance teacher was arrested and charged by Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich.
He eventually pled guilty to felony charges of criminal exposure to HIV, statutory rape by an authority figure, and solicitation of a minor. Along with the sentencing, he was also asked to register as a sex offender for life. Other than this case, Conner was also allegedly involved in two similar pending cases with two other victims, aged 17 and 24.
