STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Apple TV+'s sci-fi series 'Constellation' concluded its gripping narrative in episode 8, captivating fans since its debut on February 21, 2024.

Since her return from space, the central character, Jo Ericsson (Noomi Rapace), has been navigating a tumultuous relationship with her husband, Magnus Taylor (James D'Arcy).

Despite her dedication to him, a rift has formed between them, and Jo discovers that in this reality, their relationship is already strained, possibly heading toward a separation.

Jo's actions only reinforce Magnus's belief that she is mentally unwell, deepening the divide between them and leading Magnus to ultimately send her to the astronaut rehabilitation center.

While at the rehabilitation center, Jo undergoes a shock treatment. However, before administering lithium to her, a comprehensive body test reveals that Jo is four months pregnant.

Upon learning this, Irena Lysenko (Barbara Sukowa) refrains from giving her lithium due to its potential toxicity to the unborn child. Instead, she suggests alternative pills to Jo, who declines to take them.

Jo is overwhelmed by this revelation as she grapples with her reality. She fears that if she carries this child, she will never be able to return to her original reality and reunite with her real daughter, Alice (Davina Coleman and Rosie Coleman).

Irena Lysenko has a conversation with Jo, emphasizing that what's done cannot be undone, and encourages her to accept the reality as it is. She also advises Jo to focus on her unborn child and her relationship with the present Alice.

Later, Alice herself tells Jo that even though Jo is not her real mother, she wants her to be one now.

This heartfelt moment prompts Jo to finally accept her circumstances and express her desire to embrace life in this reality.

During a conversation with Magnus, Jo asks him if she feels like his original Jo. Although Magnus initially disagrees, Jo proceeds to express her love for him and her willingness to continue their marriage.

Magnus eventually agrees, and the family looks forward to a bright future together.

'Constellation' is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
