Conor McGregor sucker-punches elderly man in pub for refusing to drink with him, but he barely flinches
Conor McGregor once again grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons after he sucker-punched an elderly grey-haired man in a Dublin pub after he refused to do a shot of whiskey with him.
Security cameras at the Marble Arch pub in the Irish capital caught the ex-UFC champion on April 6 pouring shots of his own brand of whiskey Proper Twelve for everyone sitting at the bar, Daily Mail reports.
However, McGregor couldn't stomach being twice rejected by one elderly man at the pub and threw a vicious left jab to his face, thereby leaving onlookers shocked.
But the man in question, thought to be in his 60s, barely reacted and remained on his stool unperturbed despite being punched by one of MMA's most high-profile fighters.
McGregor was subsequently dragged out of the pub by the security team he was drinking with.
TMZ published footage of the altercation after the fight was reported to police, prompting new details around the incident.
"Investigations ongoing in relation to this incident and no arrests have been made to date," Ireland police told Daily Mail in a statement.
According to reports, the Garda had a word with McGregor following the incident.
The UFC star is seen in the newly-released footage walking into the pub wearing a tank top and his signature sunglasses before approaching the bar.
Holding a bottle of Famous Twelve whiskey in his hand, McGregor places a glass in front of several regulars at the bar.
When the man in question moves the glass away, the MMA fighter places another glass in front of him, but he removes that as well.
McGregor pours three shots of whiskey nonetheless and begins pumping his fist in the air as others cheer and clap.
He is then seen landing a sudden jab into the man's face, before being dragged out of the establishment by his own security team.
While the identity of the man is yet to be confirmed, he is reportedly a regular at the pub.
