'Fear The Walking Dead' fans are glued to the screens right now as the stars of the show are at the virtual Comic-Con panel, discussing Season 6 of the show, and what the future holds for the characters. The season will premiere on October 11, Sunday on AMC and a new trailer was unveiled at SDCC. While it teases the survival of Morgan (Lennie James), who had been shot by Virginia (Colby Minfie) in the finale of Season 5 and left for dead, it's unclear what exactly his fate would be.

The teaser showed his red eyes and the showrunners hinted that something might just be up with him, leading fans to wonder if he is a Walker or could he just be a vampire....we are in a strange apocalyptic world. Moreover, the showrunner Scott Gimple also hinted that there would be a time jump as well or maybe just multiple time jumps.

"I think what we’re really excited for in [FWD] Season 6 is the fact that everyone got split up and we’ve already heard Ginny reference the fact that she has quite a few settlements under her control. She is like a colonizer," showrunner Andrew Chambliss had previously told Entertainment Weekly. "She is like someone who franchises these settlements and comes in and fixes things and then kind of seizes control. But it means we’re going to see a lot of different places and get a lot of different flavors and we’re going to be able to dive in really deeply with our characters."

Fans have pointed out how FWD is strikingly similar to Season 7 of 'The Walking Dead', where Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) had made his brutal entry after murdering Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn in cold blood. The whole group was split up and were brought under Negan's control, till of course, they managed to overpower and imprison him till he actually begged to die later.

Fans have hailed Virginia as the new Negan and are eager to see what twisted things she does and whether she will face redemption like Negan did. "So basically, Virginia is their Neegan," a fan tweeted.

"I feel Season 6 of FTWD will be a lot like season 7 of TWD. All split up, broken, living under Virginia’s boot....maybe a revolt at the end #ComicConAtHome #ComicCon2020 #comiccon #TWDFamily #TWD #TWDWorldBeyond #FTWD #fearthewalkingdead #thewalkingdead," another wrote.
