Former 'Saturday Night Live' star Leslie Jones responded to reports that POTUS Donald Trump's name will appear on millions of Americans' coronavirus relief checks.

Jones believes that his name should definitely be printed on all the death certificates of those who died after contracting COVID-19. Jones took to Twitter on Friday morning, April 17, and said, "Like what is wrong with us how don't we see the narcissistic behavior of this clown?"

"We need to put his name on all the death certificates from this pandemic too!! What the f**k?!" she revealed. As per reports from Washington Post, some of the delivery of the checks were delayed due to Trump insisting that his name is placed in them.

A Treasury Department spokeswoman, however, said in a statement denied that the checks had been delayed. "Economic Impact Payment checks are scheduled to go out on time and exactly as planned — there is absolutely no delay whatsoever," the spokeswoman shared.

"In fact, we expect the first checks to be in the mail early next week which is well in advance of when the first checks went out in 2008 and well in advance of initial estimates," the statement revealed. Many social media users took to Twitter to comment on Jones's post. One user shared, "It is terrifying that he is still in the White House. Republicans and Democrats need to get him out NOW!"

While another added, "People actually believe the checks are coming from him personally & not we the people!!" A third user chimed in, "I hope all the people that have passed away, show up in his nightmares!" A fourth wrote, "None of this surprises me. The ones who’ve been hit the hardest will remember his poor behavior."

A source spoke to Breitbart News that the attacks against Trump over checks should be dismissed as fake news. The insider shared, "This is just another attempt by the entrenched, anti-Trump bureaucracy to craft a false narrative about the president’s ego when in fact millions of Americans are already seeing their economic impact payments hit their bank accounts."

"The Washington Post is the propaganda arm of the out of touch, rabid, far left and should be lambasted for sowing discord as our nation attempts to navigate this challenging economic climate. Shameful," the source added.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday, April 15, called Trump's decision for his name to appear on stimulus checks amid the coronavirus pandemic "shameful". While doing an interview with CNN on 'The Lead', she called the move "shameful" and said that "people are really desperate to get a check."

Pelosi shared that Americans "want their checks".  "They want their unemployment check, they want their direct payment check that you're talking about here, they want the Paycheck Protection Program checks to come forward and they're not seeing that," referring to a new small business relief program.

She also spoke about Trump's announcement that he will stop funding for the World Health Organization "senseless". "In terms of the World Health Organization, the position that the President is taking, you asked does it make sense, I say it's senseless," she shared.

"They are there to fight disease, pandemics and all of this throughout the world and for us as the United States of America to undermine that just doesn't make sense," she said.
