When Kennedy and Justin returned to the stage of 'Come Dance With Me' for the second time, they meant business and knocked the judges' socks off. The father-daughter team went all out to ensure that they were as comfortable as possible on top of the table.

With the broadcast of 'Come Dance With Me,' Justin Thompson and his daughter Kennedy from North Stafford made their television debut last week. The father-daughter duo is presently dancing their way across the country on CBS' new family competition show, which airs every Friday at 8 pm. The duo is one of 12 teams vying for a $100,000 prize pool. The unskilled parent put his day job on hold to accompany his child, who has huge dancing ambitions, to shoot the show. With the guidance of prominent choreographers who have collaborated with renowned musical artists, the team works to master hard routines.

Justin, an Alexandria public information officer, is not a natural dancer like his daughter. But it didn't stop him from giving a standout performance on the show's premiere, gaining them the highest overall score. This Friday, the duo headed to the stage to perform 'Applause,' one of Lady Gaga's most popular songs. To fit in with the night's theme, the act demanded jazz. Even if jazz isn't Kennedy's forte, she didn't let that stop her from unleashing her strength on stage. From the judges to the audience, the ballet dancer put on a show that had everyone on their feet.

Because Kennedy's father was not a dancer, the team had to work long hours. Justin, who is doing everything he can to assist her daughter to realize her ambition, was also spotted working hard with the show's choreographers. The father-daughter duo has already wowed the judges and fans throughout the country with two back-to-back performances. Their most recent performance earned them a total score of 24 out of a possible 30, which was 0.5 lower than the week's top scorers, Kamryn and Adriana. "Kennedy reached for the stars, and her father got her there." Jenna, one of the show's judges, said after seeing Justin raise his daughter into the air at the end of their routine.

Even fans on social media went gaga over watching the two perform. Fans quickly took to social media, to share their thoughts. One said, "Kennedy & Justin fabulous! #ComeDanceWithMe ".

While another cheekily remarked, "Giving 👏👏👏 for the Applause number! #ComeDanceWithMe".

Looking at the level of the competition only in the second week, another viewer tweeted, "This has been awesome 👏 it's so scary now #ComeDanceWithMe".

‘Come Dance with Me’ returns to CBS with a new episode every Friday at 8 pm EST.
