Claudia Conway claims her oxygen level dropped to 90 but mother Kellyanne told her she ‘doesn't need hospital’
Kellyanne Conway’s teenage daughter has posted a TikTok video early Thursday, October 8, claiming her oxygen level dropped to just 90 after testing positive to coronavirus, but her mother told her she “doesn't need to go to hospital”. Earlier, Claudia Conway shared that on October 2 she had contracted the deadly virus, minutes before her mother announced that she got infected.
The 15-year-old posted the video that showed an oxygen tracker on her finger, the caption of which read, “it won’t stop beeping my oxygen is low haha!" In the same clip, Claudia asked her 1.3 million followers, “do I go to the hospital now?" while in another one, she stated that her levels "keep fluctuating" while claiming she "can't breathe that well,” The Sun reported. She later said that her “mom said I don't need to go to the hospital so looks like I'm dying! Peace." Besides, she also asked for help, saying, “can someone please tell me what to do it hurts to breathe and it keeps dropping randomly."
According to reports, the teenager got the coronavirus after her mother attended a White House event on September 26 for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, whom President Donald Trump has selected for the Supreme Court in place of late Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Soon after the event, the 53-year-old tested positive. The event came under scrutiny since a number of people who attended it, including POTUS, tested positive.
Reports stated Claudia and her mother were arguing since their results came. A video that was recorded by the girl herself showed Kellyanne admonishing her, saying she has "caused so much disruption" and "you lied about your f**king mother, about Covid." The former White House aide reportedly did not know that she was being recorded, however, when she found out, she yelled again at Claudia, “You're taping me again?"
In another video, Claudia confronted her mother and said, “You said it was negative, so I spent the day with you." However, later she posted another clip with a caption that stated: “Little clarification from my previous posts. My mother claims that she did not lie to me. She had three tests done. First negative, second two positive. We were not in communication. I misinterpreted it." While in the background, Kellyanne was heard saying, “Do it now, you say correction, my mom had three tests."
In addition, Kellyanne also posted a message on Twitter that read: “My daughter, Claudia, is beautiful & brilliant. She has access to top doctors & health care & lives comfortably. Like all of you, she speculates on social media. Yet she’s 15. You are adults. We have COVID, but it’s clear who’s really sick.”
A few days later, Claudia posted an apology for her videos that led to "uproar" and "intense controversy". She also said, “I am simply a fifteen-year-old with a following and bad luck when it comes to media coverage. Leave my family and me alone. I am currently quarantining and isolating with my mother. We are doing everything we can to stay healthy. We are going to enjoy our quarantine together, away from social media."
