Christina Anstead is best at what she does, but sometimes, things get complicated when she has to make a renovation happen for a couple that has different tastes. One such case was Elizabeth and Montana. The pair had been married for a couple of months and had recently moved into their new house.

While they loved the place they lived, they knew something was missing. After a lot of thinking, the pair decided to renovate their house and seek Christina's help. While Christina was looking forward to the change, the problem started coming up when she found out that the two had very different tastes. They wanted a mix of farmhouse and industrial.

This style looked into a renovation that was rustic along with modern. While she was happy that the two settled on a similar style, she did not expect things to get complicated when it would be time to choose the tiles and flooring for the renovation. For the renovation, Christina decided to knock some walls down in the hope of creating more space.

The pair wanted to renovate the living room and the kitchen. Montana thought Elizabeth could have more say on what should go into the kitchen as it was her space. However, when it was time to choosing the type of style the kitchen should have, he was interested in bringing forward his views. The two had a disagreement about the color of tile and flooring to be used. While Montana wanted to settle for a darker version, Elizabeth thought the lighter flooring would look good with the blue cabinets. Christina tried to help them out by giving her suggestion. After a long wait, Montana decided to give in and agreed to go with what Elizabeth wanted.

Just when Christina thought she had them on board, the two again had their differences when it was time to choose the layout for the fireplace. Luckily, it did not take long enough for them to come on the same page. Everything was shaping the way Christina had hoped for and to make things better, she decided to give Montana and Elizabeth a surprise by renovating the dog room.

Once the house was completed, she was eager to show the renovated masterpiece to both of them. Elizabeth and Montana fell in love with the change and admitted that the taste fit the description of what both of them had in mind.

'Christina on the Coast' airs on Thursdays at 9 pm ET on HGTV.
