Chrissy Teigen suffers miscarriage, Internet calls her 'brave as hell' for tragic post after losing baby Jack
Cookbook author Chrissy Teigen who was all set to give birth to her third child shared a heartbreaking news on Wednesday, September 30. Chrissy told her fans that she went through the pain she "never felt before" as she lost her unborn baby Jack and said, "despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough".
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough," she wrote in an Instagram post which had a picture of her sitting on a hospital bed with hands folded and eyes full of tears. "We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. To our Jack - I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you. Thank you to everyone who has been sending us positive energy, thoughts and prayers. We feel all of your love and truly appreciate you," she added. She further wrote, "We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience. But everyday can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it."
As soon as the news of her miscarriage came in light, people started recating to it. One Internet user wrote, "Oh, momma. It hurts. I’ve been there. My Maya’s birthday is Monday, stillborn at 21 weeks. Breathe, hug Miles and Luna, lean on your people. Sending you love and healing," while another one said, "I am so so sorry. My heart is hurting for you and your family. I know it won’t be easy so I keep you in the highest prayers." In no time more and more people started coming in support of her, as another fan wrote, "He was lucky to have a wonderful mama who did everything she could. I am so sorry for your loss. Big hugs to your family." While another one thanked her for sharing her pain and wrote, "I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing it with the world. As painful as that must be, you might be helping another momma be open about her own loss and that’s huge. Much love to you all."
Not just her fans, celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Hailey Rhode Bieber also came in her support, as Kim wrote, "We’re always here for you and love you guys so much." While Hailey said, "I’m so so sorry. Thinking of you and John, praying for you guys and sending you so much love during this time." The news also went to Twitter where comedian Rae Sanni wrote, "Brave as hell for Chrissy Teigen to share something so personal. So sad." While one fan prayed and said, "My heart just breaks for U and John! I Pray my God give U guys some kind of peace in this time of sadness i know there can never be the right words to say to someone in this kind of situation, I’ll just send prayers up for peace and for God to heal your hearts."

Teigen was hospitalized on Sunday, September 26, after she experienced severe bleeding. She told her Instafam on Tuesday, September 29, "hello from hospital. about to have my second blood transfusion which truly truly truly sounds more dramatic than it is. It’s an IV, but instead of fluids, the blood of some kind human being out there. Baby and I are completely fine, just missing the little things like walking...cooking...playing with the other buttbutts. came across this little gem from ringing in 2020. It all makes sense now!"
