Chris Watts reportedly reveals new details into murders of wife and two children to agents who visited him in Wisconsin prison

Convicted Colorado triple-murderer Chris Watts, who is currently serving multiple life sentences for murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters, met with investigators earlier in February to share some new information about the highly-publicized case. The father reportedly spoke to agents from the FBI and CBI, as well as one officer from the Frederick Police Department, on February 18. The contents of the conversation have still not been shared with the public, however.

The Daily Mail reported that the footage will be released on March 7 and now many people are speculating that this could mean that there might finally be some closure after the tragic deaths of pregnant Shanann, Bella, and Celeste Watts. The interview with Watts was held at the  Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun, Wisconsin, where he was transferred to for his safety in December last year.

It is still unclear if the convicted killer is still there or if he used the interview with the investigators to move to another facility. The authorities have also said that they do not believe that Watts gave them a factual account of what happened on the night he killed his wife and children. He only ever confessed to killing Shanann and claimed he took the extreme step in a fit of rage after he saw her murdering their two children.

The local police and the FBI did not believe a word of that and subsequently charged Watts with three counts of first-degree murder after deliberation, two counts of first-degree murder of a child under the age of 12 and by a person in a position of trust, three counts of tampering with a deceased human body and one count of unlawful termination of a pregnancy. There now seems to be a possibility that the evidence in the heinous case could probably even exonerate Watts or implicate a second or a third person.

It was also speculated that the Weld County District Attorney may have uncovered some new video evidence based on the doorbell footage they released last week which showed Shanann arriving home from a work trip shortly before she was murdered. Watts had initially claimed that he saw Bella dead and "blue" on her bed and Shanann "actively strangling" Celeste on the baby monitor.

If this alleged footage was obtained from the system, it could be used to either confirm or deny his allegation that his Wife killed their children and then he killed his wife. Watts had said that he saw his pregnant wife "on top of Celeste" and that's when he ran into the room to stop it but he was allegedly too late. He then told the authorities that he strangled Shanann.

The same officials who worked on the case for the FBD, FBI, and CBI were the ones who visited the convicted father in jail. The man only admitted to murdering his wife and then burying her in a shallow grave. He also said that he dumped the bodies of Bella and Celeste into large oil tanks after he failed a polygraph test.
